I'm Cami Bertoluci, a Fashion graduate with more than twenty years of experience in retail, product and management.

I began as an intern on C&A's Fashion Team and left the company as a product manager, after working as a design assistant, joining the trainee program and managing a store. It was within that same company that I crossed the distance between watching decisions being made and becoming one of the people making them.

Then came Shoulder, where I led the fashion team; Marisa, where I worked with denim and imported products; Riachuelo, as Senior Product Manager for the Casual and Urban lines; and Marisa again, where I now lead Senior Product Management for Casual.

I have worked with private labels, large-scale categories and decisions that span everything from strategy design to the experience of the person who finds the product in a store.

In none of those places did anyone explain that, alongside my results, I was also being assessed according to rules no one had written down. I discovered them late, through observation and mistakes, and paid the price of learning things in the wrong order. A Segunda Porta grew out of that experience, both professional and personal.

Getting in is only half of social mobility.
